Useful Nudist Information
The International
Naturist Federation defines the
nude lifestyle as a way
of living in in harmony with nature.
It is characterized by the practice
of communal nudity, with the intention
of encouraging respect for oneself,
respect for others and for the environment
and it is the practice of complete
nudity in a social setting.
Naturism
is founded on family participation.
Children grow up with healthful
attitudes and accept the physical
nature of both sexes and all ages
without fear or shame, appreciating
the body as part of their natural
environment. Some people have expressed
concern about the safety of children
in a nudist environment. In actual
fact children have a greater safety
as at most clubs members have to
go through an approval process. Any
signs of problems are dealt with
immediately.
People are not born
with an aversion to human bodies
in fact before the Victorian period
society was far more tolerant of
the naked body. It is only due to
the present social conventions that
nudity has been considered wrong
or shocking. Age, shape, race, creed
and colour are irrelevant when it
comes to enjoying the nudist lifestyle.
Naturism attracts people from all
walks who practise social
nudity in the right environment,
among like-minded naturists. Every
body shape is different and nudists
will accept you just as you are.
On your first visit
a nudist club nobody expects you
to undress the minute you arrive
but in most cases people relax and
even feel uncomfortable being dressed.
If you realize that naturism is not
for you, your clothes will stay on
and you will leave. Nudity in sun
clubs is not sexually stimulating
and the question of men ever become
aroused is not usually a problem.
